Roberts Spray 45 Centennial
Overview
About this vessel
Zeeduk is a Spray 45 Centennial round bilge shoal draft of steel construction launched in 2006. She sails and motors well, having achieved 8 knots under genoa in 25 knots of breeze. She is very stable and has given the owners a sense of security at all times.
Extensive use of stainless steel in places subject to damage or wear reduces paint damage. The keel base is 20mm thick, the hull and topsides 6mm, and the decks 4mm.
The interior has easy clean surfaces. The timber work is New Guinea Rosewood.
The layout consists of three cabins, two of which are air conditioned. The forward cabin is set up as a workshop, with a vice on the port side and a bench/table on the starboard side. It has condenser cooling water plumbed but no air conditioning.
Sail handling gear: The forestay needs attention from a rigger. The owner believes the sta-lok fitting needs to be redone.
