About this vessel
Hunter yachts are known for their huge volumes, GLORIA is no exception and she provides a great accommodation plan for a 41 footer plus the customary spacious cockpit with the mainsheet traveler sited up top on the overhead arch, another customary Hunter design feature. Her owners have just conducted an insurance survey, including out of the water inspections and this report is available upon request.
Accommodations
GLORIA offers a comfortable and thoughtfully designed accommodation for cruising. With two cabins and two heads, she provides privacy and convenience for both family and guests. The forward cabin features a spacious double berth, generous storage, and an en-suite head with shower and hot water from the 240 VAC 45 litre water heater. The aft cabin offers a large double berth and easy access (twin doors) to the second bathroom, which is also the day head, making it ideal for guests or extended trips. The saloon is open and inviting, with plenty of natural light streaming through the deck saloon windows, complemented by a well-equipped galley ready for meal preparation.
Galley
Double stainless steel sink with hot and cold water plus foot pumped fresh and salt water. Two burner stove and oven. Microwave.

Two, hot and cold.

Two electric heads with holding tank.
Batteries & Electrics
The yacht's AC system was originally wired for 120VAC @ 60Hz and has been partially converted to 240VAC @50Hz. Power outlets throughout the boat now accept Australian-style plugs, though adaptors may be needed for some appliances. AC selection between shore power and the inverter is controlled via dedicated breakers at the chart table. AC power is available from shore power, and a 12-2000 inverter.
The yacht's DC system is 12VDC. The 12 volt house bank is 2 x 200 Ah AGM batteries plus a 12 volt lead-acid start battery. Additional charging by 20 amp battery charger, new engine alternator, and 3 x 150 watt solar panels regulated by 30 amp solar controller. Electric bilge pump.
Mast & Rigging
Anodized B&R rig mast and boom with a height of 18.34 m. This rig features a sleeved mast for smooth and efficient sail handling, providing secure support and stable performance under a variety of sailing conditions.
Sails
Dacron mainsail with 2-reef slab reefing, boom bag and lazyjacks. Dacron headsail / genoa with roller furling.
Deck Gear
Two Lewmar 40 winches, two Lewmar 46 winches, davits, and swim ladder.
Ground Tackle
Lewmar windlass, 20kg Rocna anchor, 30kg CQR pattern anchor, and 40m of galvanized chain.
Safety Gear
EPIRB (406 MHz, battery valid until 2028), manual bilge pump, and Life Sling.
Cover & Awnings
The canvas covers, bimini, and sprayhood are in good condition, structurally sound and fully serviceable, providing effective protection and shelter.

Rigid GRP dinghy with Parsons 5.8hp outboard.
