About this vessel
The Beneteau Oceanis Clipper 343 is a highly regarded 34-foot cruising yacht known for its comfortable, spacious interior, easy handling, and good performance in a variety of conditions. Designed by Berret and Racoupeau, it features a practical layout with comfortable cabins, and a functional salon. The lifting keel (1.20m to 1.60m draft) opens up berthing options.
Construction: GRP construction with lifting keel (1.20m to 1.60m draft), spade rudder with wheel steering. The wheel can be rotated through 90 degrees to improve access through the cockpit.
Mechanicals: Powered by a Yanmar 3YM30 29hp inboard diesel with shaft driven propeller. Last serviced July 2025. A bank of 3 x 12V batteries (new July 2025) provide engine start and service power, these charging via the engine. Shore power connection fitted with 240v outlets x 4.
Rigging and sails: Fractional rig Bermudan Sloop with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging. Slab reefing Mainsail with lazy Jack bag and roller furling Genoa with UV strip and luff sock. Both sails are original to boat and are said to be in "good condition".
Accommodation: Comfortable accommodation for 6 with double cabins fore and aft and a convertible saloon double or 2 single settee berths. Central dining table for folding leaves, galley with Microwave oven, sink with pressurised hot and cold water, front loading fridge and storage. There is a gas oven which is currently not fitted. Chart table with electronics panel, large heads compartment with sea toilet, holding tank, sink and shower. Diesel cabin heating fitted.
