About this vessel
Well appointed, Bavaria 30 Cruiser with hi-gloss white hull and standard 1.85M draft fin keel. Binnacle mounted leather trimmed wheel steering, cockpit table with fold out leaves and all over cover. Vessel can sleep 6 people over 2 cabins and saloon. Galley with oven, fridge and sink. Heads with toilet, holding tank, sink, and shower.
Inboard Volvo Penta MD2020D with sail drive. Electronics include Raymarine 54E DSC VHF, Furuno NavNet 22 touch screen, colour plotter/digital radar linked to autopilot. Sloop rigged with boom mounted slab reefing main, 2016 roller furling headsail and spinnaker. Electric cabin heating.
Vessel powered by a reliable and economical inboard Volvo Penta MD2020D diesel engine. The engine is located in a sound proofed, insulated compartment incorporated into the companionway. Great access for servicing and daily checks. Engine well maintained with most recent service in April 2025 when all anodes, filters were replaced including impeller and gaskets. Volvo saildrive with 2-bladed fixed propeller.
Bright and airy interior with light ash veneer and contrasting blue fabrics. Plentiful hull ports and deck hatch let in lots of natural light and ventilation. Aft cabin with double berth and storage. L-shaped galley with top loading fridge, sink with hot & cold mixer tap and oven with hob and grill. Heads compartment with sea toilet, holding tank, sink and shower with pump out. Chart table on starboard side with chart storage, seat, switch panel and tank gauges. The high light of this area is the state of the art, touch screen plotter with digital radar and autopilot link.
The saloon has settee/berths port and starboard of drop leafed saloon table. In the bow is the "owners" cabin with double berth and wardrobe and shelving units. The boat is well catered for storage with hull mounted storage cupboards and further storage below bunks and berths. 12V lighting in all cabins. Electric fan heating operable when attached to shore power.
GRP constructed yacht with white hi-gloss topsides. Grp superstructure with moulded non slip. Large self bailing cockpit with access to bathing platform via removable helm seat. Binnacle mounted wheel steering with wooden fold out leafed cockpit table. Wide side decks with easy access forward to anchor locker. Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and stanchions joined together by double set of guardwires.
Deep draft fin keel and spade rudder. Blue hull decoration. Aluminium toe rail. Stainless steel boarding ladder.
Bank of two 12V batteries, fitted with isolators providing engine start and domestic power. Batteries recharged via engine alternator or onboard battery charger. Engine start battery replaced 2022. Shore power with cable.
Bermudan sloop sail plan with deck stepped aluminium spars. Easy to sail with majority of lines led aft to helm. Ideal if sailing short handed or with inexperienced crew. Rigid Rod kicker. Stainless steel standing rigging and terylene running rigging. Self tailing sheet winches within easy reach of helm. Slab reefing main mounted in lazybag on boom. Roller furling genoa with sacrificial strip new in 2016. Original 2005 genoa refurbed. Spinnaker with pole and associated rigging.
