Falcon Inflatables 575
Overview
About this vessel
This family boat has been owned since new in 2010. It's served as a reliable tender to Rottnest Island, cruising between Narrowneck and Thompson Bay for provisioning runs and pot fishing. Very well loved and maintained, reliably serviced and stored undercover when not in use.
The pontoons are in very good condition, as is the hull and general condition of the boat. A few stains and scrapes on the GRP deck, but nothing to be concerned with.
The pot winch set up is a custom design that has been modified over time to what it is today. It's the easiest RIB to pull pots in, perfect for the seasoned fisherman or newbie.
The boat performs way above its size and weight in bad weather — you can get home in any sea state, though you'll certainly get wet. It tows beautifully behind a big boat, making it ideal as a Rotto tender. A good first boat for someone looking to explore Rottnest or get the kids comfortable driving a boat.
The gearbox on the motor was replaced by Collings Marine around 2020. When this played up it was the first issue ever had with the motor. It's an amazing little unit that, even after sitting in the shed all winter, always starts first go. Compressions on the motor can be completed at the seller's cost for genuine enquiries.
