Basar Boats is the Australian importer of the iconic Crusader rigid inflatable boats from South Africa. These boats are renowned for their superior ride quality in their size class, attributed to their heavily laid fibreglass and deep-V hull design. The forward helm position, while initially unconventional, allows these boats to cut through chop smoothly with soft landings and a vastly bigger back deck than standard RIBs. Originally designed for getting through the waves in South Africa after being beach launched, Crusader RIBs handle West Australian conditions with ease.

Crusader RIBs are engineered as the toughest on the market, designed to handle all seas, high swells and strong winds. They are loved by both leisure boaters and commercial operators alike due to their unsurpassed strength of build and outstanding sea keeping performance.

Basar Boats have taken this rugged platform and designed a deck layout suitable for leisure boaters, fishermen and divers in Australia, focusing on safety, stability and adaptability.

The hulls are imported from South Africa with a 2 year warranty, with outboard motors and electronics fitted in Australia under local manufacturer warranty. Trailer frames are manufactured in South Africa with undercarriage and towing gear fitted locally by John Papas Trailers and registered with the DOT.

Sea trials can be arranged, timed to take advantage of the sea breeze to give you a chance to experience the boat's capabilities.
