Schionning Spirited 380

Siva is a well-presented 2012 Schionning Spirited 380 performance cruising catamaran, designed by renowned multihull specialist Craig Schionning. At 38ft (11.58m) with a generous 6.5m beam and shallow 0.85m draft, she offers an excellent balance of speed, efficiency and access to shallow anchorages, making her ideal for both coastal cruising and offshore passages.

Powered by twin Yanmar 3YM20 diesel engines (22hp each) with saildrives and Gori folding propellers, Siva cruises comfortably at 8–9 knots and can achieve impressive speeds under sail. Both engines have approximately 1,000 hours. Her well-considered electrical system includes AGM house batteries, a 60A CTEK charger, 1200W inverter, Honda EU10i generator and a substantial 2,000W solar array. With 300L of fuel and an impressive 1,400L water capacity, she is set up for extended, self-sufficient cruising.

The interior layout is both practical and inviting, featuring three cabins with two queen berths and one single, along with two bathrooms equipped with showers and Jabsco electric and manual heads. The saloon benefits from excellent headroom and a bright, open feel thanks to the galley-up design. The galley is well equipped with a Waeco fridge and freezer, SMEV stove and oven, and twin sinks, making it ideal for life aboard or entertaining.

Her sail inventory is a standout feature, highlighted by a near-new (2024) full-roach, fully battened Contender carbon/Kevlar laminate mainsail, complemented by a genoa and tri-axial screecher with spinnaker. The rig includes an aluminium mast, stainless standing rigging, Selden furling systems and Andersen winches, with a new boom bag fitted in 2024.

On deck, Siva is equally well appointed with a full cockpit shade, BBQ, davits supporting a Swift Marine 310 tender with Suzuki 15hp outboard, and reliable anchoring gear including Manson anchors and an Anchorlift windlass.

Currently lying on the Gold Coast, Australia, Siva is Australian registered through to December 2026 and was last antifouled in January 2026. She presents as a capable and well-equipped performance catamaran, ready for her next adventure.
