About this vessel
KARIBU is a capable bluewater sailing yacht from the Oyster 885 series, designed by Rob Humphreys and delivered in 2013 as the second hull in the shipyard's flagship range. Built for serious offshore cruising, she combines Oyster's proven sailing platform with a vibrant, contemporary interior and a charter-friendly layout.
In 2022, KARIBU completed a comprehensive refit with a budget exceeding €2 million. The scope covered all major systems and surfaces, including a new Future Fibres EC6 carbon rig, freshly painted hull in Teale Blue, new interior upholstery, upgraded IT and AV systems, and a brand-new 4.35m Williams jet tender. The result is a yacht that feels modern, mechanically sorted and ready to go.
KARIBU's layout is well suited for both private and charter use. She has a master suite aft with Oyster's signature triple vertical Seascape windows, offering natural light and sea views. Two doubles and one twin cabin complete the guest setup. Crew are accommodated in two forward cabins, with the option to configure the captain's cabin as either a double or a twin.
