About this vessel
CHAMPAGNE HIPPY is an Oyster 825 designed for long-range cruising. She is MCA-classed and coded, EU VAT paid, and fully equipped for private adventures or charter.
Extensively refitted between 2018 and 2019 and again in 2022, she features a new mast, rigging, sails, refreshed interior, and major engineering upgrades.
The yacht's extended transom was an optional extra during her build, resulting in an extended aft deck, a huge amount of interior volume, and an immense beach club and storage area. The beach club is accessible from either the transforming ladder/hydraulic passerelle, or the internal deck steps for safe access when under sail.
Her performance has been well-documented — she completed the ARC transatlantic in just 15 days, finishing 13th overall and claiming the title as the first Oyster to cross the line.
