About this vessel
ASMARA ALIDA, formerly AOSANGO, was built under the close supervision of her first owner and holds CE certification of conformity. Now in her second ownership, the boat has benefitted from two successive dedicated owners. She has within the last year had a complete revamp of her electrical set up with all new lithium-ion batteries with excellent battery management, a new solar array with new MPPT control units. The FISCHER PANDA generator gives additional self-sufficiency to the boat. She has an excellent fuel capacity and an intelligent tank system. Many other aspects aboard have been upgraded by the present owner to ensure hassle-free cruising.
The extra comfortable living aboard is afforded by full air conditioning, generous bathrooms with electric heads, a large modern galley and large sheltered cockpit. Add to this the fine sailing characteristics and fine construction methods and ASMARA ALIDA will have wide appeal.
A four double cabin boat with additional sleeping capacity in each forward deck locker/cabin, ASMARA ALIDA is a spacious home afloat and perfectly self-sufficient.
January 2024 update: Routine hull care, new anti-foul plus a new blue Awlgrip boot top to hulls.
May 2025 update: All new standing rigging plus a new mainsail.
ASMARA ALIDA was built under the close supervision of her owner by Catathai Co. Ltd, Phuket. The boat is composite GRP, vacuum bagged closed cell foam core, vinylester resin. She was CE certified on 17th August 2018 with IMCI/Belgium.
