About this vessel
This vessel features a composite Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) sandwich hull construction with a balsa core and fiberglass deck material. It is a multihull type built in South Africa. The boat is equipped with two Yanmar 4JH45 inboard sail drive diesel engines, each with 1,975 hours as of November 2024, and a SD60 gearbox last serviced in 2024. The controls include Morse double lever throttle and gearshift control, and the cooling system is raw water.
The sails include a fully battened mainsail with five battens and two rows of reefs, and a 120% roller furling Genoa with a protective UV strip, both from Elvstrom 2024. The spars are Z-spars made of aluminum, and the standing rigging is stainless steel. The total sail area is 1318 sq. ft. The winches include electric winches at the helm station with foot activator switches (2 x Lewmar 45) and one self-tailing Lewmar 45 winch.
Accommodations consist of 4 staterooms in the port and starboard hulls, each with an en suite head. Inside equipment includes a convertible saloon table to a double bunk, fresh water pump with accumulator tank, ENO propane oven and 3 burner cooktop, stainless steel sink, 5 showers, faux leather upholstery, and laminate finishes with solid wood trims for interior construction.
Electrical equipment operates at 220v and includes 3 AGM house batteries totaling 600ah (2024), 2 Bosch 100ah engine batteries, 1 generator battery, a 60Ah battery charger, and a Northern Lights 9 kW generator. Deck equipment features an Edson wheel steering system, front screen panel dodger, Lewmar electric windlass, a custom stainless steel davit system with tackle and electric winch, primary Delta 25 kg anchor with 75 meter 10mm chain, secondary Britany 25 kg anchor with 50 meters rope, fire extinguisher (4 x 1kg), first aid kit, set of flares (2 smoke, 3 hand held, 3 parachute) with expiry date 2027, 6 fenders, 4 mooring lines, 2 spring lines, anchor bridle, shackles and hook, anchor bow roller fitting and chain stopper, last antifouling in March 2024, and dinghy with outboard engine included.
Covers include a bimini top, hardtop, lazy bag, and lazyjacks. Electrical equipment also includes shore power inlet with 2 x 30amp cables at 220V. Electronics consist of Raymarine p70 autopilot, Fusion marine cockpit speakers (2 in saloon, 2 in aft cockpit, 2 on forward deck) with wired remote control at helm station, Plastimo Contest 130 compass at helm, Raymarine i70s depthsounder, Raymarine i70 log speedometer, AXIOM-9 Raymarine touch screen plotter, Fusion radio, Raymarine Ray60 VHF, and Raymarine i70s wind speed and direction instruments.
Inside equipment also includes 2 Cruisair 16k BTU air conditioning units, 60Amp battery charger, deep freezer, 4 electric bilge pumps with alarms, 4 electric heads with Macerator and Jabsco salt water pumps in each head, 2 hot water tanks with total capacity 12 US gallons / 46 liters, main manual bilge pumps x 2, a stainless steel gimballed stove with 3 burners, oven and grill (ENO), and a Vitrifrigo 2-drawer fridge/freezer with 56 US gallons / 212 liters capacity at 12v.
Outside equipment includes a hot/cold cockpit stern shower, cockpit table, stainless steel electric davits, Eurovinil 10 pax liferaft last serviced 01/23 with next service due 01/25, 2 x 100W solar panels, swimming ladder, and tender. Rigging includes 2 electric winches at helm and a steering wheel. Sails are fully battened mainsail and furling Genoa, both Elvstrom 2024.
