About this vessel
The vessel features a composite Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) sandwich hull construction with a balsa core and fiberglass deck material. It is equipped with a balanced spade rudder and a multihull keel type. Built in South Africa, this boat offers comfortable accommodations with 4 staterooms located in the port and starboard hulls, each with an en suite head.
The interior includes laminate finishes with solid wood trims and a faux leather upholstery color scheme. The saloon table converts to a double bunk, and the galley is equipped with an ENO propane oven and 3 burner cooktop, stainless steel sink, and fresh water pump with accumulator tank. There are 5 showers and 4 electric heads with Macerator and Jabsco salt water pumps in each head. Hot water is supplied by 2 tanks with a total capacity of 12 US gallons (46 liters). The vessel also has 4 electric bilge pumps with alarms and 2 manual bilge pumps in the main bilges.
Electrical equipment includes 220v voltage, 3 AGM ONE7 200 Ah house batteries (2024), 2 AGM 100 Ah engine batteries, 1 generator battery, a 60Ah battery charger, and a Northern Lights 9 kW generator. The steering system features an Edson wheel and the helm station has electric winches with foot activator switches and self-tailing winches.
The sails include a fully battened mainsail by Quantum (2024) and a 120% roller furling Genoa with protective UV strip by Elvstrom (2024). The spars are Z-spars made of aluminum and the standing rigging is stainless steel. The sail area totals 1318 square feet. The rigging includes 2 electric winches at the helm and a steering wheel.
Deck equipment includes a Lewmar electric windlass, a custom stainless steel davit system with tackle and electric winch, a Delta 25 kg primary anchor with 75 meters of 10mm chain, and a Brittany 25 kg secondary anchor with 50 meters of rope. Safety equipment consists of 4 fire extinguishers (1 kg each), a first aid kit, and a set of flares (2 smoke, 3 hand held, 3 parachute) with expiry date 2027. Additional deck equipment includes 6 fenders, 4 mooring lines, 2 spring lines, anchor bridle, shackles and hook, anchor bow roller fitting, and chain stopper. The dinghy is a Yamaha 9.9 Hp 4 stroke with tender.
Covers include a bimini top, hardtop, lazy bag, and lazyjacks. Electrical equipment features a Northern Lights 9 kW generator and shore power inlet with 2 x 30 amp cables at 220V. Electronics include a Raymarine p70 autopilot, Fusion marine cockpit speakers (2 in saloon, 2 in aft cockpit, 2 on forward deck) with wired remote control at helm station, Plastimo Contest 130 compass at helm, Raymarine i70s depth sounder and wind speed and direction instruments, Raymarine i70 log speedometer, AXIOM-9 Raymarine touch screen plotter, Fusion radio, and Raymarine Ray60 VHF.
Inside equipment includes 2 Cruisair 16k BTU air conditioning units, a 60 amp battery charger, a deep freezer, 4 electric bilge pumps with alarms, 4 electric heads with Macerator and Jabsco salt water pumps, 2 hot water tanks with total capacity 12 US gallons (46 liters), 2 manual bilge pumps in main bilges, a stainless steel gimballed stove with 3 burners, oven and grill by ENO, and a Vitrifrigo 2-drawer fridge/freezer with 56 US gallons (212 liters) capacity at 12v.
Outside equipment includes a hot/cold cockpit stern shower, cockpit table, stainless steel electric davits, Eurovinil 10 pax liferaft, 2 x 100W solar panels, swimming ladder, and a Yamaha 4 stroke 4 Hp tender.
The vessel is powered by two Yanmar 4JH45 inboard diesel engines, each with 45 hp and 3 blade propellers. Engine hours are 2,204 and 2,203 respectively, with Morse double lever throttle/gearshift controls and raw water cooling system. The gearbox is SD60, last serviced in August 2024.
