Sargo 31 Explorer

Kelpie is a 2020 Sargo 31 Explorer, a well-known Finnish pilothouse design built for rugged, all-weather cruising and year-round use. The boat features superior safety in rough seas with single-level no-step walk-around decks, high bulwarks, and a thru-hull door to starboard. One owner from new, with extensive professional engine servicing and maintenance. The owners have spent extended periods cruising Scottish waters aboard Kelpie.

The boat comfortably accommodates two cabins and one head, with seating for up to eight, making it ideal for family and friends or leisurely cruises.

The interior is beautifully appointed with lacquered teak interior wood and grey Anthracite Alcantara upholstery. Upholstered ceiling panels and carpeting throughout complement the welcoming atmosphere. The wheelhouse features a large manual sun roof with three glass panels, a large L-shaped sofa, and an adjustable-height electric saloon table. The forward cabin has a double V berth with infill and storage below, while the aft cabin offers a double berth. A well-equipped galley includes a stainless steel sink with hot and cold mixer tap, a 65L fridge, triple gas hob, and combi microwave/oven. The heads features an electric fresh water flushing toilet, electric extractor fan, stainless steel sink, and a Whale Gulper auto drain pump for the shower.

The engine is a Volvo Penta D6-380 DPI diesel with 1299 hours at point of listing, paired with a Volvo stern drive and hydraulic steering. The boat is fitted with a Sleipner SE60 bow thruster and two Side-Power SE30 stern thrusters for enhanced manoeuvrability. A Webasto 4kW diesel heating system provides year-round comfort.

The electrical system includes a 12V setup with separate engine, thruster, and domestic batteries. Power comes from four Epsilon 90Ah lithium batteries and a 100Ah starter battery, supplemented by two 50W solar panels on the coachroof. A Mastervolt CombiMaster 3000-100Ah inverter charger and an additional 150Ah alternator provide comprehensive power management.
