Azimut Magellano 25 Metri

This 83' Azimut Magellano 25 Metri motor yacht was built in 2024 as a 2025 model and is essentially brand new, having been used for only 2 weeks. She carries an extensive options list valued at more than 1 M€, and transferable warranties are available.

The Azimut Magellano 25M represents both a return to basics and a total break with precedents. Naval architect Ken Freivokh shaped the exterior lines of this concept travel boat, which aimed to become the trawler of modern times. Star interior designer Vincenzo De Cottis has created a very exclusive atmosphere on board through furniture of his own creation. The hull exudes a line with strength and dynamism.

The boat is powered by two MAN engines of 1550 Hp each, with very low hours. The hull, called "dual mode," is a semi-displacement design optimized to obtain almost linear yields between 10 and 15 knots. For this new boat, Azimut commissioned Italian architect Pierluigi Ausonio to rework the water lines in order to increase the cruising speed to 18 knots and meet customer wishes. Maximum speed is 24 knots. At low speed, the 25 Metri returns to the behaviour of an authentic trawler. Fuel consumption amounts to 50 l/h at 10 knots on flat seas, with an efficiency of 5 liters per mile and a maximum range of around 1200 nautical miles.

The use of carbon fiber in the fly, hard top, and garage is a construction choice that allows for increased volumes and surface areas while maintaining the same weight, permitting excellent levels of dynamic stability.

When the transom tilts to open the tender garage, it converts into a bathing platform extension and reveals an astonishing transparent glazing at the cockpit level which frees up the perspective. The transom unfolds to convert into a submersible bathing platform and at the same time free access to the tender garage.

At anchor, the Azimut Magellano 25M can rely on a 4.35m tender with launching by electric winch.

The De Cotiis touch is evident in the layout of the large cockpit, which the designer has completely revisited. Instead of the traditional bench seat, two sofas whose structure is made up of teak slats face each other.

The bow combines relaxation space and deck manoeuvring with the proximity of all stainless-steel mooring gear which contributes to the Explorer philosophy.

Guests have at their disposal an exceptionally large flybridge which includes a large U-shaped lounge and, aft, a terrace with a view of the horizon. Large, simple sofas designed by De Cotiis adorn the aft part of the flybridge, entirely slatted with teak.

A staircase to the right of the dining room leads to the 4 cabins. The hull is wide enough to accommodate 2 VIP cabins with 160 cm beds perpendicular to the axis, one at the front and the other on the port side, with another twin bed cabin to starboard with additional Pullman bed. A long corridor distributes the rooms up to the through Master cabin which occupies the rear. The brass-rimmed sconces and furniture are the common thread of this chic decor where nothing is left to chance. Each guest cabin has its own bathroom, whilst the shipowner benefits from preferential treatment by having a bathroom with double sinks open to the bedroom.

Hotel-Mode allows you to enjoy zero emissions and in silence at anchor. Onboard systems are powered by lithium-ion batteries instead of generators for 6 hours during the day and up to 8 hours at night. In this way, it is very similar to an ultra-spacious mini yacht for its dimensions and shows real aptitude for charter.
