About this vessel
The CANTIERI DI PISA CUSTOM 40M is a new displacement superyacht under construction, marking the start of a new series of sustainable yachts with efficient propulsion and ready to comply with the most demanding regulations of the coming decades.
This first displacement superyacht is built on a steel hull with aluminium composite superstructure and teak-laid decks. An ambitious project developed for a demanding expert owner, the yacht combines the capabilities of an exploration yacht with those of a charter yacht, featuring 6 owner/guest en-suite staterooms and up to 5 crew cabins, together with large and bright social spaces both inside and outside.
Part of the yard's Custom Division, the CANTIERI DI PISA 40M is built to the highest quality standards, embodying the value of an Italian historical brand. The yacht merges exploration robustness with timeless elegance and functional advanced eco-friendly technology.
The engineering and naval architecture were conceived by Francesco Samarelli, the exterior design was penned by Antonio Luxardo (Optima), and the interiors were designed by the yard, Optima, and Minotti. The result is a forward-thinking stunning vessel with an impressive volume of 450 GT, allowing guests to interact closely with the sea in a convivial and practical environment. Her dynamic lines are combined with the acclaimed Italian refined styling.
The superyacht features a generous open deck stern beach club with opening wings, sizeable Jacuzzi and transformer platform, huge sundeck spaces, zero speed and underway stabilizers, lateral launching floodable tender garage for tenders up to 6.5m, designer furniture, and state-of-the-art navigation, communications, connectivity and entertainment systems. The yacht complies with IMO Tier-III and EPA Tier-IV regulations to sail in ECAs with BV and Malta commercial class certifications.
Guest accommodation comfortably accommodates 12 guests in 6 en-suite staterooms comprising a main-deck master suite forward with private balcony, a full beam VIP cabin, 2 doubles and 2 twins on the lower deck. Crew accommodation is provided for up to 10 crew members in up to 6 cabins all with en-suite facilities, the captain's cabin being adjacent to the wheelhouse on the bridge deck. A massage room on the upper deck can also be used as an additional single crew, supernumerary, or guest cabin.
The yacht is powered by twin 1500 Hp MAN diesel main engines, reaching a top speed of 15 knots, a cruise speed of 13 knots, and an economical speed of 10 knots for long-range cruising up to 3500 nautical miles. As an optional feature, the vessel can carry a smart and reliable hybrid system providing 8 to 10 hours of electric autonomy at night without a generator, purely electric propulsion at 7/8 knots for up to 2 hours, and propulsion in hybrid mode with diesel/electric booster mode increasing main engine horsepower to 1750 Hp per engine.
