Fishing Charters

This fishing charter business was established in 2019 and operates mainly in Port Philip Bay and surrounding areas. It is a walk-in operation with forward bookings. The present owner will provide training and local knowledge regarding where to fish and when.

All the foundational work has been completed. If you love fishing and are good with people, this business is suitable for a single person, partnership, or family operation. It comes fully equipped and ready to operate with nothing else to spend.

The vessel is a Devil Cat 6.6m with 2.4m beam, featuring excellent survey numbers with 2700mm x 2050 deck space. There is plenty of seating for passengers and fishing room, with a hard top cabin providing protection. The boat is economical to run, consuming 38 litres per hour while cruising at 21 knots.

The business operates 7 days a week. From November to January, up to 3 charters a day are available at 5am, 10am, and 3pm. From February to October, 2 charters per day run at 6am and 11am, with offshore charters lasting 8 hours. Special promotions are offered periodically to increase bookings.

All bookings and payments are handled online through the business website. The sale includes the boat, trailer, website, email domain, social media profiles, fishing GPS marks for Port Phillip and Western Port bays and Bass Strait, and comprehensive fishing gear including rods, reels, tackle, nets, lures, and a freezer.
