Overview
Description
The FP44 is a 13-metre sailing catamaran designed as a true floating retreat, placing conviviality and shared experiences at the heart of every passage. Its widened nacelle, deep-V hull lines and finely balanced coachroof deliver both secure offshore performance and refined aesthetics, while generous living spaces across cockpit, flybridge and foredeck create an easy-flowing indoor–outdoor lifestyle at anchor and under way.
On deck, the FP44 features the shipyard’s signature dual helm arrangement at mid-height, providing excellent visibility over the water and sails, plus direct connection with guests in the cockpit and on the flybridge lounge. The cockpit opens almost entirely to the saloon via a full-width glazed door and central galley island, complemented by a forward pass-through that further blurs the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. Large lounging areas aft, on the flybridge and on the foredeck sunpads ensure multiple zones for relaxation, while the rig and deck plan are optimised for easy handling and efficient cruising sail plans.
Below, the FP44 is offered in Maestro, Full Maestro and Quatuor versions, with configurations from three to four double cabins and three to four bathrooms. In the Maestro layout, the port hull is dedicated to a spacious owner’s suite with private bathroom and the possibility to personalise the forward area as a baby cabin, workshop, dressing room or multi-function space. Aft berths are set slightly diagonally for easier access, while forward sections benefit from hull chines to maximise berth width and comfort. Across all versions, storage is generous and circulation is thoughtfully planned for extended liveaboard cruising with family or friends.
The FP44 is available with conventional twin diesel propulsion as well as Fountaine Pajot’s ODSea+ electric-hybrid package, which includes electric motors, high-capacity lithium battery banks, hydrogeneration capability and up to 2,000 W of integrated solar panels. This smart energy architecture is managed from a single onboard interface to prioritise renewable sources and support quiet, low-impact cruising. Combined with a light, infused-composite structure and carefully optimised naval architecture by Berret-Racoupeau, the FP44 offers a contemporary balance of performance, autonomy and environmentally conscious comfort for bluewater voyages and coastal escapes alike.
