Overview
Description
The FP55 is a 17-metre luxury sailing catamaran with flybridge that brings large-yacht comfort and finish to an owner-friendly size, designed for extended bluewater cruising and premium charter programmes. As the first flybridge model in the range, it combines a powerful, efficient sail plan with generous living areas across cockpit, foredeck and an expansive flybridge, delivering both offshore capability and exceptional lifestyle at anchor.
With nearly 17 metres of length and 8.8 metres of beam, the FP55 offers the volume to host large groups or provide exceptional space for owners who value privacy. It is the only cruising catamaran of its size on the market to offer two full owner-style suites, one in each hull, allowing comfort and intimacy to be accumulated rather than shared. Up to six double cabins of identical size can be specified, with dedicated crew quarters in a separate zone, ensuring clear separation between guest and crew living spaces.
The FP55’s deck layout is centred around sociable, easy circulation between the aft cockpit, the forward cockpit and the flybridge. A direct door from the saloon to the forward cockpit creates a unique front-to-back flow of fresh air and guests, while the aft cockpit becomes a focal point for entertaining, with options such as a plancha for open-air cooking. The large flybridge gathers the sailing manoeuvres in one raised control area while offering a lounge space with a unique elevated view over the sea and anchorage.
Designed with autonomy in mind, the FP55 features up to 6,300 W of integrated solar panels, supporting a new generation of cleaner cruising. This renewable energy capacity enables onboard systems such as air-conditioning to run without constant reliance on a generator, and supports quieter, low-impact coastal cruising. In its ODSea+ hybrid configuration, the FP55 can be specified with twin 50 kW electric motors, a 38 kW generator, a 38 kWh battery bank, hydrogeneration capability and high-capacity inverters, forming a coherent hybrid-electric ecosystem for modern cruising.
Interior design focuses on light, calm and contemporary comfort, with large openings flooding the saloon and cabins with natural light. Soft, gentle colour palettes, light wood joinery and rounded, enveloping furniture shapes create a serene atmosphere throughout. Multiple upholstery and fabrics options, many in recycled materials, allow owners to personalise the mood from natural and understated to deeper, more expressive tones, while maintaining a consistent sense of clarity, simplicity and well-being on board.
Whether configured in Maestro, Double Maestro or six-cabin charter version, the FP55 ensures every guest benefits from bright cabins, generous storage and well-appointed private bathrooms. The forward and aft outdoor lounges, the expansive flybridge, and the refined interior saloon together provide a wide choice of living areas so everyone on board can find their preferred space—close to the water, in the shade of the cockpit, or elevated on the flybridge. The FP55 is aimed at owners seeking a versatile, highly liveable cruising catamaran that encourages ambitious passages as much as relaxed, luxurious time at anchor.
