Description
The Selene 42 Voyager Aft-cabin is the next generation model of the popular Selene 40 and the big sister to the Selene 36 and 38. It features the Cruisers SternTM design for better speed and efficiency by housing the steering quadrant and battery banks and adding to the waterline.
Designed with the cruising family in mind as a coastal cruiser, it offers quality and safety at an affordable price. It comes equipped with a 230 HP Cummins diesel engine, bow thruster, anchor windlass, full galley, island master berth, separate shower, full guest stateroom with head, and more. The deeper keel enhances stability and tracking, while the larger rudder provides better control, especially at low speeds.
This boat boasts a very livable interior with an increased salon size by over two feet, allowing for a larger galley that can include a full-size refrigerator and a settee seating more guests with the Selene hide-a-leaf table. The aft master stateroom is increased by about 30 cm with a walk-around queen bed, full head, and stand-up shower stall. Forward is a V-berth with ample storage, en-suite head, and shower. The additional space is available in the cockpit and lazarette.
The exterior deck design allows safe movement around the boat with walk-around decks and a large cockpit. The foredeck design facilitates safe anchor deployment and retrieval and features a heavy-duty stainless steel bollard. This boat is well-suited for cruising in regions like the Great Loop, Pacific Northwest, the Balearic Islands, or Southeast Asia.
