Overview
Description
The Stessl Vagabond series is a classic Aussie vee-bow punt designed for shallow and inland waterways, delivering impressive stability and a generous, open layout. Built from 1.6mm 5052 marine-grade aluminium with rolled and welded floor and side ribs, it is engineered as a tough, long-lasting tinny that stands up to years of hard use.
Versatility is at the heart of the Vagabond. It performs brilliantly as a cartopper, yacht tender, or a compact fishing and crabbing platform, while also suiting general family boating and exploring sheltered estuaries and rivers. Fully welded, foam-filled thwart seats enhance safety and buoyancy, while the flat foredeck and open interior make it easy to move around, stow gear and rig for different adventures.
Practical features such as an anchor shelf with tie-off point, port side tank rack, bow and rear handles, double bow eye and rowlock holders provide a simple, reliable setup whether powered by a small outboard or used with oars. With multiple hull lengths available, the Vagabond range allows boaters to choose the size that best matches their preferred waterways, load and power options, all while enjoying the reassuring stability and straightforward functionality of a well-proven vee-bow punt design.
