Colvic Craft Sailer 296

This Colvic Sailer 29 is a well equipped cruiser with a decent sailing performance. Featuring a wind generator, solar panel and all the expected navigation equipment this would make a great entry level sailing yacht. With a number of extended cruises through the French canals to the Mediterranean and extensively cruised across the channel and along the south coast, Davamara provides a range of options for the new owner as a capable cruiser or for use as a liveaboard.

Berth at Weymouth or Portland Marina is available for the new owner to continue.

Construction

Hull by Colvic craft in 1981. Finished by the owner in 1983 including epoxying of hull. Hull deck and superstructure in white GRP. Treadmaster on decks repainted in 2020. Fin keel with encapsulated ballast and skeg hung rudder.

Mechanical

VOLVO MD11C 2 CYL 23 HP diesel inboard engine. Fresh water cooled. Serviced 2019. Approx 1.5 l/h consumption. 3 blade fixed propeller.

Electrical

2 x 12v batteries charged by engine alternator. Sterling alternator booster. Rutland 913 wind generator. 60W solar panel. Shorepower.

Tanks

1 x 200l SS fuel tank. 2 x SS water tanks totalling 58 gallons. 1 x holding tank 25 gallons.

Water System

Pressurised hot and cold water system. LPG water heater.

Heating

Diesel cabin heating.

Rigging

Masthead Sloop. Slab reefing with lazyjacks and cover. Furling forestay foil. Running rigging replaced 2024. Mainsail in good condition. Genoa in good condition. 2 x Lewmar 40 primary winches. 2 x Gibb halyard winches on cockpit.
