The forward owner's stateroom features a large full width double berth, a small dressing seat, a hanging locker, and dedicated shelving. The aft guest cabin is located on the port side with a modified queen-size berth, high-clearance headroom, side hull ports for natural light, and a hanging locker. A single, large head compartment sits to port just ahead of the aft cabin, featuring a much larger footprint with a separate, dedicated shower area.
The defining highlight of the 2-cabin version is its massive U-shaped galley to starboard. Unlike narrower linear or L-shaped galleys in 3-cabin versions, this masterclass in maritime ergonomics provides excellent bracing points for cooking safely while underway, with storage capacity that multiplies significantly in this configuration.
The salon is outfitted with extensive under-bench storage compartments beneath the main U-shaped dining settee to starboard, deep drop-down storage wells behind the seat cushions, and multiple wood-faced upper cabinets along the hull sides. To port are two single seats with a table between them, allowing for a comfortable nav station when needed. Aft and behind the aft seat is the electric panel, liquor locker, VHF, Luxpro AC/HT control, Freedom inverter/charger, Sony AM/FM/CD, and a Raymarine chartplotter. The interior is warm and inviting yet bright and light, with two-tone beige striped fabric on all the salon cushions. Teak bulkheads and cabinetry, teak and holly sole throughout, and curtains for sidelights and portlights as well as shades for all the overhead hatches complete the space.
Centerline is the companionway to the large cockpit, which also serves as access to the diesel engine. The cockpit layout features dual helms, opening up a wide, unobstructed central walkway leading from the companionway straight through to the transom and giving the helmsperson optimal line-of-sight visibility forward and clear views of the jib tell-tales from both the port and starboard rails. A sturdy fiberglass console sits dead-center between the helms, acting as a brace point while heeled, housing navigation plotters, and featuring folding leaves for outdoor dining. The reverse transom opens up to a low-profile integrated swim platform complete with a folding stainless steel ladder and a hot/cold freshwater transom shower. Elevated cockpit coamings provide deep back support for guests and keep the cockpit well-protected from spray. Wide side decks offer access to the foredeck and the mast when needed.
Galley
The large sea galley is safe underway and offers abundant storage and counter space for food prep. It includes a 2-burner propane stove with oven, Sharp microwave, Isotherm refrigeration with freezer (top loading, new in 2022), dual stainless steel sinks with pressure hot and cold water, fresh water tank monitor, Corian counters, storage outboard and under sink, additional shelving outboard, and propane control. Galley ware conveys with the boat.
Sails and Rigging
Aluminum mast and boom are stepped on deck with stainless steel mast support post below. The double spreader rig is a masthead sloop with traditional mainsail replaced in 2010 and jib on roller furling replaced in 2010 with sun screen sewn in. Rope clutches port and starboard of the companionway serve the halyards. Twin Harken #40 2-speed self-tailing halyard winches sit on the cabin top, and 2 primary Harken #44 2-speed self-tailing genoa winches handle the headsail. Hood roller furling supports the headsail, and a telescopic whisker pole mounted on the port side deck is new in 2020. A hard vang completes the rigging.
Electronics
The starboard helm is equipped with Raymarine wind speed and direction, Raytheon depth and speed, 2010 Raymarine autopilot, compass, and engine panel controls. The port helm features Raymarine wind speed and direction, Raytheon depth and speed, and compass. Centerline aft at the cockpit table is a Raymarine C90w 2010 radar/chartplotter/GPS, repeated below at the nav station. Below deck are a flat screen Toshiba TV on the forward salon bulkhead, Sony stereo with AM/FM/CD with USB and AUX, 2010 Icom VHF IC-M422, and Phillips speakers in the salon.
Mechanical and Electrical
The boat has a Yanmar diesel engine, 110 volt shore power, 30 amp shore power cord, and batteries for house and engine start that have been updated. Interior and running lights are included.
Deck and Hull
The hull and deck feature gelcoat in white. Teak is present in the cockpit on seats only, with teak hand rails and teak trim by the companionway. The centerline cockpit table with fold-out leaves and storage underneath sits between dual helms. Stainless steel bow and stern rails with side stanchions and double lifelines are fitted, and lifelines were replaced in 2020 with all wire. New thru hulls were installed for the engine and HVAC. A Lofrans anchor windlass sits at the bow with stainless steel stem and double anchor rollers. A Rocna 25 anchor is new in 2011. Aluminum toe rails run along the sides. The walk-through transom features a "sugar scoop" and swim ladder. A Gori 3-blade folding prop was added by the present owner.
