About this vessel
A 2002 Bavaria 40 sailing cruiser. Lifted, antifouled, anodes and engine and sail drive replaced February 2024. The vessel features a 2 cabin layout with increased width in the aft cabin, a double forward cabin with complete bathroom, another bathroom in the stern, a dinette with 6 seats, and a full galley.
The boat is well-equipped for cruising with modern electronics and systems. Recent upgrades include a new engine and drive in 2024, new starter, bow thruster and domestic batteries in 2021, and various equipment refreshed in 2016 including solar panel, Garmin chartplotter, Frigomatic fridge with freezer, and sails (furling genoa and main sail with snuffer). Navigation equipment includes GPS Simrad with Mediterranean card, Raymarine ST60 automatic pilot, compass, and LED navigation lights. The galley features a sink, oven, and hob alongside the fridge with freezer compartment.
Deck equipment includes a Lofrans windlass, four Harken winches, an aft deck shower, and an inflatable dinghy with Mercury outboard. The cabin features LED lighting with remote control ambient strip lighting and a Pioneer Bluetooth music system with speakers in both cabin and cockpit. Safety measures include gas detector, bilge pumps, and fire fighting equipment.
