Overview
About this vessel
GRP construction with ballasted stub and swing keel (0.80m to 2.00m draft), twin spade rudders and wheel steering so the yacht can dry out if needed.
Powered by a Volvo Penta MD2020-D inboard diesel with shaft driven 3 bladed fixed propeller. Shore power and battery charger fitted along with diesel cabin heating.
Bermudan Sloop with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging (changed 2023). The Mainsail with Lazy Jack bag and Genoa are thought to be original and are described as being in "average condition". The Cruising Chute is said to be "worn but serviceable" available separately if wanted.
There are berths for 6 to 7 with double cabins fore and aft, a single saloon berth to starboard and a convertible saloon berth double to port. The saloon table has 2 folding leaves and the keel winding mechanism built in. Chart table with electronics to starboard and galley to port. The galley has a gas oven and hob, top loading fridge, single sink with pressurised hot and cold water and a range of storage. The comfortable sized heads compartment has a handbasin, showerhead and has been converted to an Airhead style composting toilet. While still not that common in the UK, these toilets remove the need for holding tanks and regular pump-outs. Managed properly, they produce virtually no odour and can be used for a surprisingly long time between empties. Search Youtube for user reviews. Diesel cabin heating fitted but some of the ducking needs replacement.
