About this vessel
Catalina 309 'Lightly Salted' is offered for sale.
REDUCED!! MOTIVATED SELLER!!
Designed by Gerry Douglas and built by Catalina Yachts in the USA, the Catalina 309 has built a strong reputation as one of the most successful models in the Catalina range, admired for her spacious accommodation, easy handling and comfortable coastal cruising manners. 'Lightly Salted' is a one-owner 2008 model offered for sale by her original owner, who has had her from new in 2009 after being delivered on a ship. She comes complete with an extensive collection of original owner's manuals from purchase, giving her next owner full documentation and history from day one.
With just 157 hours on the engine and a single owner since new, 'Lightly Salted' comes with a clean, well-documented history throughout, including the 2022 full standing and running rigging replacement.
Her well-proportioned hull and generous beam give her a spacious, plush interior that rivals many larger boats, while her fractional sloop rig delivers easy, rewarding sailing performance for coastal cruising, club events or weekend getaways. Below decks, she offers spacious living quarters with two large couches and an extendable table, along with two cabins comprising a double V-berth and a quarter-berth. The galley is well equipped with a Princess stovetop and oven, a sink and a refrigerator, while the single head keeps things simple and practical for cruising.
Inspection is highly recommended.
