About this vessel
Ocean Star 56.1, built in 2008. This vessel is in top condition and fully equipped for extended cruising and comfortable living aboard.
The accommodation comprises five cabins and five heads across five bathrooms. Two aft cabins offer double or twin berths, two fore cabins feature double beds, and a forepeak cabin with independent access from the foredeck provides a bed below with a folding bunk above.
The vessel features extensive teak throughout, with teak on the cockpit floor, cockpit seats, side decks, top deck, and fore deck. A hydraulic gangplank with remote control, cockpit cushions, cockpit table, and swimming ladder with swim platform complete the outdoor spaces. A bimini top and spray hood provide sun protection.
The electrical and mechanical systems are modern and well-maintained. The galley is exceptionally well-appointed with two refrigerators (one opening from the top with dual independent cool plates, compressors, and keel coolers; one house-type with freezer), a cockpit fridge, microwave, oven, and icemaker. Six air conditioning and heating units serve each cabin and the salon. The vessel is equipped with Dometic Vacuflush electric toilets in the four guest cabins and a Jabsco manual toilet in the crew cabin.
The sloop rigging features roller furling genoa and in-mast furling mainsail with all control lines led to the cockpit for easy single-handed operation. An electric winch assists with genoa furling, and an electric windlass handles anchoring. A spinnaker pole is included.
