About this vessel
The Hanse 540e "Julietta" is a well-equipped, performance-oriented cruising yacht designed for long-range sailing. She has completed a full circumnavigation and was extensively refitted after her current owner acquired her in 2022. Over €40,000 has been invested in upgrades and technical service, mainly carried out in Finike Marina, Turkey.
Major recent upgrades include engine service by an authorized Yanmar dealer, replacement of rudder bearings, new drive shaft and bow thruster overhaul, and standing rigging recalibration with rope replacement. New bimini, sprayhood, and sunshades were fitted, along with cockpit cushions and a sun mattress. A new 35 kg anchor with 50 m stainless steel chain, new fenders, and a refrigeration unit were installed. A generator and watermaker have been added post-purchase.
The Yanmar engine is original with an estimated 2,000–2,300 hours (hour meter currently inoperative). A new shaft has been installed with a folding propeller. Navigation equipment includes Simrad systems with a partially outdated display (top display not functioning), though AIS and autopilot are fully operational. A full system upgrade including AIS and autopilot is available if required.
No insurance claims have been made during current ownership. A mast loss incident occurred in 2013 under a previous owner with no resulting hull damage.
Sails include mainsail (fair condition), Genoa (good condition), gennaker, and storm sail. A dinghy with outboard engine (fair condition) is included. The yacht features 3 guest cabins including a spacious bow master cabin, and a dedicated skipper cabin in the forepeak with toilet, sink, and new mattress. Air conditioning units have been newly installed in the master cabin and saloon, with aft units repaired.
