About this vessel
Delivered and commissioned in 2016, Aurous is a commercially coded (MCA Cat 2) and professionally maintained/operated high specification example of the extremely popular Prevost & Nauta designed Lagoon 52 Flybridge, with diamond-shaped vertical bows, contemporary styled hulls and a levitated hardtop with flybridge.
Aurous is not an ex bareboat charter fleet yacht. She has been run in a small boutique company whose core values are based around providing high quality yacht vacations. She has always been maintained to the highest standards and professionally crewed by a crew of two. She presents in a "ready to go" condition.
Aurous is spacious with different relaxing areas around the deck: cushions on the foredeck, sunbathing area on the flybridge and the dining area and aft sofa in the cockpit. The boat is accessed via open aft transoms, facilitating boarding and disembarking. The boat enjoys broad side decks, with recessed deck hatches. The cockpit is level with the saloon and has an outdoor lounge and sun-lounging area to starboard. The flybridge is reached either by a staircase leading from the cockpit, or by another leading from the deck on the starboard side. All ropes and controls are located on the flybridge, away from the living areas.
Inside she has the galley up across from the sofa/interior dining area. The cabins have incomparable natural lighting thanks to the fixed hull windows, together with excellent ventilation, thanks to the deck hatches and portholes that open out to the hull-side or to the cockpit.
The Lagoon 52 is part of a major evolutionary step for this well-established company. A new desire for speed with easy handling has brought a dramatic design change while retaining the builder's familiar overall look.
