About this vessel
BASBOUSA is a 2018 model, built in late 2017 and was the subject of well thought out modifications by the previous owners, making her unique in its kind. The boat features a large salon space that faces the kitchen, extra furnishings, and a starboard hull dedicated to the owners with a very nice bathroom at the front including separate toilet, shower and double sinks. Two double guest cabins occupy the port side, with a functional workshop/4th cabin in mid gangway, a large fridge freezer and storage, allowing comfortable preparation for long trips.
Equipped with a PetitJean furling boom, BASBOUSA is dynamic with top square mainsail, genoa on electric furler, Code zero and Gennaker on hydraulic control. The boat is fitted with two LS Autopilots, 2800W in solar panels, air conditioning, 2 watermakers, two 3.5KW inverters, an additional 2KW inverter, and a bow thruster for easy handling. It is a boat designed for great comfort in duration and reliability with reduced crew.
Since 2022, the current owner has continuously optimized the general condition. The boat is fully operational; the mast and rigging have been subject to a complete survey and made ready for the 2026 season by a professional shipyard, so that BASBOUSA can be ready for a new chapter.
