Description
The 490 SeaBreeze is a versatile bow rider that delivers a balanced blend of family comfort and fishing capability in a compact, easily managed package. Built on Horizon’s Hydro Lift hull with reverse chines, it offers reassuring stability, predictable handling and a soft ride suited to estuary cruising, inshore fishing and family days out.
This model features twin sports consoles with a wrap-around walk-through windscreen, creating a protected helm area while maintaining open bow access. The fully upholstered front seating area provides generous storage underneath, complemented by an upholstered folding rear lounge with backrest to maximise cockpit space when needed. Practical inclusions such as side pockets, battery and oil shelves, underfloor flotation and an 80-litre underfloor fuel tank support longer days on the water.
Quality steering and controls are standard, with Dometic Seastar Extreme steering and a Gussi sports steering wheel, while SeaDek non-slip pads on the transom, rear boarding platforms and multiple welded cleats enhance safety and usability. Finished in white paint inside and out with deluxe striping, the 490 SeaBreeze presents as a smart, capable all-rounder for boaters wanting a well-equipped bow rider with a recommended outboard in the 70hp class.
- Hull and structure: Hydro Lift hull with reverse chines, 3mm pressed bottom sheets and 3mm smooth side sheets, rolled side decks with upholstered pad and storage, external keel, underfloor flotation.
- Layout and comfort: Twin sports consoles with carpeted timber door, wrap-around walk-through windscreen with grab rail, fully upholstered bow seating with storage below, upholstered folding rear lounge with backrest, full carpeted floor, side and rear rails.
- Deck and fishing features: Side pockets, plastic rod holders x4, transducer bracket, split bow rail with bowsprit, rear boarding platforms, welded cleats in anchor well and on transom, double bow eye, SeaDek non-slip pads on transom.
- Helm and systems: Dometic Seastar Extreme steering, Gussi sports steering wheel, pedestal-mounted DLX helm seats, accessory kit with wiring harness, bilge pump, navigation lights and battery switch, 80-litre underfloor fuel tank with sender, screw-in bungs (2 x large 35mm).
- Finish and compliance: Painted white inside and out, deluxe striping, Australian Builders Plate.
- Factory options: Coloured, two-tone or metallic paint, electric motor mount, folding or dive ladder, ski pole mount and removable billet ski pole, various bait board and bait tank configurations, kill tank with through-transom drainage, welded aluminium rod holders, bimini, front clears, bow tonneau, SeaStar hydraulic steering upgrade and transom door.
