Description
The SportsFisher GRIDcore series from Horizon Boats delivers a family of plate alloy walkaround centre cabin offshore boats engineered for both serious fishing and comfortable days on the water. Built on the in-house developed GRiDcore hull, these models combine fully welded structural strength with thoughtful deck layouts, generous cockpit space and a raised walkaround foredeck that enhances both fishability and safety at sea.
Available in 562, 592, 632, 662 and 732 sizes, the SportsFisher GRIDcore range features full-height transoms with twin boarding platforms, enclosed rear transoms with twin hatches, and folding hard tops with rocket launchers and storage. High bow rails, heavy-duty bow sprits with double rollers, and RAILBLAZA TracLoader coamings underline the fishing focus, while large centre cabins with long bunks and upholstered cushions provide protection and overnight capability. Long-range underfloor aluminium fuel tanks, underfloor foam flotation to Australian Standards and quality steering and hardware round out a robust offshore package aimed at anglers who demand strength, practicality and performance.
- 562 Sports Fisher: 5.70m overall length, 2.45m beam, 4mm plate construction throughout, XL transom, recommended 115hp (max 150hp), with a long-range 175L aluminium fuel tank and capacity for 6 people.
- 592 Sports Fisher: 6.00m overall length, 2.50m beam, 4mm plate construction, XL transom, recommended 140hp (max 175hp), 200L fuel tank and 6-person rating.
- 632 Sports Fisher: 6.40m overall length, 2.50m beam, 4mm plate construction, XL transom, recommended 150hp (max 200hp), 250L fuel tank and 7-person rating.
- 662 Sports Fisher: 6.70m overall length (6.60m bow to transom), 2.50m beam, 5mm bottom and 4mm sides, XL transom, recommended 175hp (max 250hp), 250L fuel tank and 7-person rating.
- 732 Sports Fisher: 7.70m overall length (7.30m bow to transom), 2.50m beam, 5mm bottom and 4mm sides, XL transom, recommended 250hp (max 300hp), dual underfloor fuel capacity of 250L plus 100L and 7-person rating.
Across the range, the standard specification includes fully welded gunnels and side decks, extruded side decks, raised front walkaround decks, large aluminium anchor wells, sports steering wheels with Dometic Seastar Extreme steering, carpeted timber floors, ample side pockets, rod holders, cleats and cup holders. Options such as heavier 5mm bottom sheets on selected sizes, Lenco trim tabs, fully welded self-draining checkerplate floors, underfloor kill tanks, bait boards and bait tanks, biminis, front clears, ski poles and double dash upgrades allow owners to tailor each SportsFisher GRIDcore to their preferred balance of offshore fishing, cruising and watersports.
