Construction
Steel hull and steel superstructure, riveted and welded for strength and open seagoing capability. The trawler-type tri-deck design features all exposed decks sheathed in teak wood, which was renewed in 2008. Originally built in Holland in 1961, the vessel was completely rebuilt, renovated, painted, and thoroughly refurbished in 2008, including installation of a helicopter pad.
Bridge and Systems
The yacht is bridge controlled and equipped with a bow thruster. The bridge room was totally reconstructed in 2008. A complete rebuild of electrical systems, wiring, pumps, motors, and lights was undertaken in 2008, along with installation of a new emergency generator and new stabilizers.
