About this vessel
Built by Feadship in 1969 at the De Vries yard in Aalsmeer, SULTANA was part of the collaboration between Feadship and Carlo Riva that produced the Caravelle Series. She was originally delivered as Din Dina to her Italian owners and reflects the practical blend of Dutch build quality and Italian design that defined that era.
In 2012, SULTANA underwent a full rebuild at the Feadship yard in Makkum, carried out by the shipyard's refit division. The project focused on retaining her original character while upgrading all systems and interiors to modern standards. Her Gardner main engines were completely rebuilt and a new power generation and battery system was installed to allow silent overnight operation and improve fuel efficiency.
Following a change of ownership in 2021, SULTANA received another significant refit at Monaco Marine in Beaulieu-Sur-Mer. The work focused on both technical and aesthetic upgrades, including new teak on the sundeck, a full repaint, generator replacement, rebuilt engines, new lithium batteries and a completely reconfigured interior. Her galley was enclosed for better functionality, a dedicated laundry was added and the bridge area was redesigned to include a crew mess and private access to the owner's suite. All AV systems were upgraded with a Starlink connection, ensuring good connectivity.
