North Sea 31 Huon Pine Sloop "HERMOINE of the Derwent" – Owner Says SELL

Hermione of the Derwent is a classic design, North Sea 31 strip planked Huon Pine sloop. Hermione was built in 1973 by respected local boat builder Geoff Cuthberston as a cruising and racing vessel to accommodate a family.

She has spent many years fulfilling both roles, notably having a successful racing career for 20 years out of Kettering.

In recent years (2021-22) there was extensive work done to conserve her heritage. She has been stripped to bare hull and professionally re-epoxied and resprayed using high quality marine products. Decks were resealed, and the interior refinished. Standing rigging was attended to, and the Perkins diesel engine underwent maintenance. The vessel was re-wired with solar installation, and new house and ignition batteries were fitted.
