About this vessel
Round bilge long keel ketch in beautiful condition. Carvel construction of spotted gum 40mm thick planks with spotted gum frames on a keel of yellow stringy bark. All fastenings are copper roved. The log keel carries tonnes of lead ballast held by stainless steel bolts. Rudder is integral with the keel. Propellor is set in aperture forward of the rudder.
Deck is laid white beach timber with jarrah trims. Bowsprit is in Oregon. Main and mizzen masts are aluminium. All rigging wire is galvanised in as new condition.
Last out of water in December 2017. Past surveys are available.
