Denise Mary is a cute 36ft 2-berth cruiser stern narrowboat built by Swanline in 1974. She has a steel base and hull with fibreglass cabin sides and roof, and is presented in an eye-catching bright blue, complemented by a black cover over the bow. She was last blacked in June 2025.

Entering from the stern, you step straight into a practical washroom area, with a curtain-screened shower cubicle to the left and a WC with cassette toilet to the right. Moving forward, there is a cosy saloon space centred around a solid fuel stove.

The galley follows, offering a simple but functional setup with a standalone gas cooker, sink and drainer, tiled worktop area and undercounter cupboards for storage. Everything is sensibly arranged, making good use of the available space.

At the bow is a comfortable seating area with sofas on either side, which easily convert into a double bed, creating a flexible living and sleeping space.

A recent survey has highlighted the need for steelwork repairs.

Denise Mary is a lovely little boat with plenty of character, ideal for relaxed cruising or peaceful weekends on the water.
