Nuthin' Fancy is a well-kept Grand Banks 36 Classic, Hull #729, offering the timeless styling, solid construction, and comfortable cruising accommodations that made Grand Banks one of the most respected names in trawlers. Powered by a dependable Caterpillar 3208 Naturally Aspirated diesel and equipped with a bow thruster, spacious flybridge, teak interior, and two-stateroom layout, she is ready for coastal cruising, the Great Loop, or comfortable liveaboard use.
The Grand Banks 36 remains one of the most sought-after trawlers ever built, and opportunities to own one at this price point are becoming increasingly rare.
The Main Cabin features the Salon, Galley and Lower Helm. The salon offers an L-shaped settee to starboard aft with storage underneath and new cushions as of November 2025. A dining table with fold up leaves, storage cabinet to starboard forward of the settee. There are side deck access doors starboard forward and port aft, a bench seat with storage underneath port aft, opening side and aft windows, reading lights, teak parquet sole and storage drawers throughout.

The vessel is powered by a single Caterpillar 3208 Naturally Aspirated main engine with a Caterpillar Marine Transmission, 4 blade bronze propeller replaced in 2022, and Racor fuel filters with built-in polishing. The vessel features a 16,000 btu reverse cycle air conditioner, Raritan water heater with engine heat, recent starter solenoid, water pump, impeller, fresh water and macerator pumps, and voltage regulator.
Electrical power equipment includes a 6 kw Alpha generator with built-in major service, four deep cycle house batteries, two 8D start batteries, generator start battery, Starpower True Charge battery charger, Xantrex inverter, and dual 50 amp shore power cords with adapter cables.
