The interior includes a spacious main salon with port and starboard seating areas, convertible dining area, forward owner's cabin with double berth, enclosed head compartment, separate shower area, dedicated navigation station, and large galley with abundant storage. Excellent natural light and ventilation come from multiple opening ports and hatches, with ample storage throughout the vessel and approximately 6' 2" of headroom.
The defining feature of the Nonsuch 30 Ultra is her innovative cat rig configuration. Unlike conventional sloops, the Nonsuch utilizes a single large mainsail on an unstayed mast with a wishbone boom. The result is exceptional visibility, simplified sail handling, fewer maintenance requirements, and effortless tacking. The mainsail is fully battened with two reef points and is in excellent condition. The free-standing aluminum mast features an integrated mainsail track system, keel-stepped and aluminum spars throughout. Simplified sail controls and self-tending sailing characteristics make the boat ideal for single-handed and short-handed sailing.
The hull is fiberglass construction with a custom fiberglass cockpit hardtop.
