About this vessel
Dedicated passenger vessel built in 1988 by Cantiere Navale Artemio Bugari Eredi. The vessel features a welded steel hull with one main deck and one superstructure deck, maintaining watertight integrity through eight transverse watertight bulkheads. Navigation Category Area A1 Class B is certified for European waters within 20 miles of the coast.
The vessel is equipped with two Caterpillar diesel propulsion engines delivering 2 x 1,230 kW at 1,800 rpm, coupled to two fixed-pitch propellers, achieving a service speed of 18 knots. Manoeuvring capability is enhanced by a transverse electric bow thruster. Main propulsion control panels are mounted on the bridge with a repeater on the starboard wing.
Electrical power is generated by two AC generators of 70 kVA each, driven by Deutz diesel engines, supplemented by a 19 kVA emergency generator. The bridge is equipped with comprehensive navigation and communication systems including GPS positioning, AIS, radar, autopilot, echo sounder, VHF radio with DSC, and emergency EPIRB.
Passenger accommodation includes a lounge on the main deck featuring a bar, six forward restrooms, and an open deck space on the upper deck aft of the bridge. Crew areas comprise two upper deck cabins and below-deck changing rooms. Deck machinery includes two forward anchor windlasses with mooring rollers and one aft mooring winch.
The vessel carries comprehensive safety equipment: one rescue boat, six inflatable life rafts of 100-person capacity, two inflatable life rafts of 50-person capacity, 650 adult life jackets with lights, 65 children's life jackets with lights, and eight lifebuoy rings.
