Overview
About this vessel
The ever popular Bertram 35 is heavily constructed for the toughest of oceans. Originally built as a perfect fishing platform, they have found their way to many Australian families as a house on water.
The fully covered cockpit serves as sun protection and stows the tender up out of the way, launched and retrieved via an electric winch in the stainless steel davit arm. The side breeze aways keep you protected from the sun, wind, and rain.
This Bertram was cleverly built to accommodate up to 9 people in comfort. This consists of the front master cabin with a double bed, port side mid cabin with 2 bunks, and the saloon starboard lounge which easily converts to a single bunk on top with a double below. The saloon port side table drops down and with an infill cushion becomes another double.
Recently refurbished saloon and galley with brushed stainless steel splashback and trimmings. Bathroom with vanity and electric toilet that goes into the holding tank, and hot shower. Back out on the deck there is a transom shower to rinse off after swimming.
This Bertram also has a fibreglass hardtop on the flybridge with full clears.
Powering this vessel is a pair of Mercruiser 7.4 V8s, which have recently had manifolds and risers replaced. She will cruise effortlessly at approx 17–18 knots with a top of approx 25–27 knots.
