Accommodations
The Hunter 380 is known for maximizing natural light, ventilation and usable interior volume. Hunter's signature forward windshield, fixed ports, opening ports and overhead hatches create a bright and welcoming interior.
The main salon features a large convertible dinette to starboard and a facing settee to port. The arrangement provides comfortable seating for entertaining, dining or relaxing, with storage located throughout the cabin. The integrated navigation station offers space for electronics, vessel documentation and cruising materials.
The private forward cabin includes a double V-berth, en suite vanity with sink, hanging locker, drawer and cabinet storage, and an opening hatch for light and ventilation.
The expansive aft owner's cabin includes an athwartship queen berth with upgraded luxury foam mattress, hanging and cabinet storage, seating and dressing space, and convenient access to the head compartment.

Hull and Deck
The Hunter 380's deck layout emphasizes cockpit comfort, ease of movement and simple sail handling. The large cockpit can seat eight and features a Hunter cockpit traveler arch, folding cockpit table, helm pedestal with engine controls and electronics, walk-through sugar-scoop transom, integrated swim platform, boarding ladder, hot and cold transom shower, stern-rail seats, and cockpit cushions.
The dodger and connector with Strataglass were replaced in 2022. Additional features include a bimini top, cockpit cover, new lifelines, new rubrail, stainless-steel bow and stern rails, stainless-steel stanchions, dinghy davit system, electric windlass, anchor chain and rode, additional anchor line, washdown capability, a Magma-style cockpit grill, propane storage lockers, and spacious cockpit and lazarette storage.
Recent bottom work includes two coats of bottom paint. A dinghy and outboard are available and could be included with a strong offer.
Construction
The Hunter 380 is constructed with a fiberglass hull and deck, a wing keel with bulb and a balanced spade rudder. Her design combines a moderate-displacement hull with a broad beam carried aft, creating the large cockpit and full-beam aft stateroom for which the model is known. The fractional rig and furling sail plan are designed to provide manageable sail handling while maintaining good performance in coastal cruising conditions.
Hunter's stainless-steel cockpit arch moves the traveler and mainsheet above the cockpit seating area, improving cockpit usability while placing sail controls within reach of the helm.
Interior construction includes molded fiberglass liners, wood bulkheads, cabinetry and trim, a teak-and-holly-style cabin sole and Corian-style galley and head surfaces.
