Monte Fino 60

Boarding this Monte Fino 60 is by the massive aft boarding platform. The extended boarding platform features stainless steel hand rails, cleats, rod holders and a hot/cold transom shower. Twin staircases and stainless steel safety gates separate the aft deck from the boarding platform. The main deck has stainless steel cleats and fairleads and side boarding for port and starboard to mooring.

A preparation area is located to the port of the saloon entry and forward from the aft seating. It features a single faucet sink, storage cupboards and fridge/freezer with ice-maker. Access to the bridge is via stairs on the starboard side.

Entry to the saloon is through a sliding glass door. The saloon has teak floors. The ceiling has a compass rose imprint with down lighting making a stand out feature. Indirect lights add warmth to the spacious living area. An L-shape lounge is located both port and starboard with a fixed custom teak finish table.

The internal helm is forward and port of the saloon and can be accessed through a portside door. It has dual helm seating, a wooden steering wheel, a fixed footrest and under seat storage, allowing for good vision with all navigation aids easily accessible.

Opposite to the command position is the raised galley with overhead storage and teak finish flooring. It features complete twin stainless steel sinks with flick mixer and water filter, and a marble bench top. The galley layout keeps contact with the saloon and helm station.

The stairs to the forward cabin have a single grab rail and indirect lighting under each step. Portside of the staircase is the study, which features a large freezer for provisional storage. Laundry facilities are located just forward from the study.

Southern Star has three cabins and three bathrooms. The owner's cabin is accessed by stairs with indirect lighting and a single wood finish grab rail located aft of the saloon starboard side. The owner's stateroom has ample storage space, a timber finish study area port of the queen-size island bed and a spacious ensuite. Starboard and forward from the staircase are two cabins, both with ensuites: a twin guest cabin starboard with ¾ length cupboards and reading lights, and the forward cabin complete with under bed storage and air-conditioning.

The bridge has a soft-top and is complete with a stainless steel davit and tender. The foredeck has lockable storage both sides of the sunlounge and aft of the EPIRB and anchor equipment.

Southern Star is an exceptionally well kept vessel with no expense spared on luxury. It has an excellent layout and presents beautifully.
