About this vessel
The Birchwood 360 Challenger is a well-equipped cruising vessel with comfortable accommodation and practical features for extended passages. The saloon offers generous seating for up to eight people with a double berth conversion, while the forward cabin features a double berth with wardrobe and dressing table. A second cabin to port has berths that convert to singles or a double, and a combined shower and toilet compartment serves the accommodation.
The galley is fully appointed to starboard with a 4 burner gas hob, eye level oven and grill, fridge, and hot and cold pressurised water system. The helm position is well-integrated into the saloon, with a cocktail cabinet and dining table nearby.
The vessel features high gloss steamed beech finishes throughout, framed windows, and a flybridge with Bimini top. Deck facilities include a hot and cold transom shower, bathing ladder, and an ensign staff. The hull benefits from stainless steel fendering.
Safety equipment includes engine room ventilation, trim tabs, FM200 fire extinguishers with automatic coverage in the engine room, and both electrical and manual bilge pumps. Navigation is supported by an echo sounder, speed and distance log, compass, and a GMDSS compatible VHF/RT radio.
Power comes from twin Yanmar 4LHA-STZE diesel engines, with 750 litres of fuel capacity and 311 litres of fresh water. Shore power 220/240 volt, separate domestic battery and engine start batteries with battery charger provide electrical support. The reversible 1000W anchor windlass, anchor, chain, mooring ropes, fenders, and boat hook complete the deck inventory.
