About this vessel
This Aldabra 60' catamaran attracts the eye with its original lines and curves, designed by the famous French Naval Architect office Berret and Racoupeau and built by Aquamarine in Italy. Only 2 units were built.
Entirely redesigned by its current owner, Emotion is bright and intended for long cruises, demonstrating amazing performance while guaranteeing safety at sea. In small weather, she is dynamic: with 11 knots of wind you will easily reach 9 knots and seeing 20 knots displayed on the GPS will not surprise you. The set of spectra sails with gennaker is very well sized.
Easy to manoeuvre with reduced crew, with 2 rear steering positions, the deck plan is easy and life on board is pleasant. Fully refitted in 2022, this is an owner's version with 4 cabins plus crew. The salon is remarkable in terms of space, and the 360° panoramic vision thanks to the large windshields all around is magical. White and grey colours have been chosen for a modern finish. The hulls house the 4 double cabins, each with ensuite bathroom with electric toilet, as well as the fully equipped kitchen and crew cabin with head and shower forward.
The owner has recently invested more than 400K€ to achieve this result: paint, new standing rigging, sails, generator, watermaker, and electronics. A simple and attractive catamaran, efficient and comfortable, well maintained and easy to use—for a 60' this is not always obvious on the market.
