About this vessel
A stunning Lidgard 73 Custom catamaran built in Australia with epoxy construction and carbon fiber reinforced cross beams. This 73-foot vessel offers elite sailing performance capable of reaching 22 knots and cruising under power comfortably at 10 knots, with a draft of just 4.5 inches, making her ideal for Bahamas cruising.
The 6-cabin layout accommodates 12 guests, with two cabins on the main deck level featuring ensuite heads and four additional cabins within the two hulls. Accommodations are designed to delight, with plenty of refrigerator and freezer space, extensive storage, immense trampoline areas, and a 20-foot wide swim platform.
SOVEREIGN was commissioned in 2005 as a custom Lidgard design and built to the highest standards by Executive Yachts in Australia. She was placed into service by the original owner in 2007 and has sailed extensively all over the world. SOVEREIGN has never been chartered.
Purchased by her second owner in 2017, SOVEREIGN underwent a major refit in Greece where the current owners sailed her for two years. She made the journey from Greece to the Caribbean in 2019 and spent years in the Spanish and British Virgin Islands. Over subsequent years, SOVEREIGN journeyed from the Caribbean to the Bahamas, Charleston, SC, the Chesapeake Bay and back multiple times. The owner and family have sailed her extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Bahamas, and Caribbean, proving her range and reliability. The vessel has been maintained to very high standards and is currently USCG documented and in excellent condition.
