Comprehensively refitted, 3,300hp and about 40 knots - a 21.69 m sports yacht for the owner who still wants to drive.
For the buyer who wants serious space and luxury without giving up the thrill of driving, this Princess V70 is a rare proposition. Combining near-superyacht accommodation with genuine high-performance sports yacht credentials, the V70 has long been regarded as one of Princess Yachts' most striking designs. Low, powerful and beautifully proportioned, her profile still looks every bit as impressive today.
What sets this particular V70 apart is the level of investment made in her. Following an extensive refit from 2021 onwards, with further upgrades through 2025 and comprehensive servicing completed in July 2026, she presents in outstanding order. From rebuilt machinery and new electronics to Alcantara wall linings, new carpets, premium upholstery and an upgraded entertainment system, virtually every area has been addressed.
At the heart of the V70 are twin MAN V12 quad-turbo diesels producing 1,650hp each. With approximately 250 hours since new and factory rebuild (one engine new, one factory rebuilt), they deliver the effortless power expected of a serious performance yacht and push the V70 to approximately 40 knots.
That combination is what makes the V70 so compelling: the volume, accommodation and presence of a much larger cruising yacht, with the performance to enjoy the journey. Sydney to Pittwater for lunch. Port Stephens for the weekend. Or point the bow north and cruise Australia's east coast in speed and comfort.
The mechanical package underwent major works in 2021, including the MAN V12 engines and a new Onan 22.5kVA generator. A Yacht Controller remote docking system was added in 2022, so the skipper can control the vessel while moving around the deck with full visibility of the dock. The electronics have been modernised with a new Raymarine navigation package.
Her interior has undergone an equally significant transformation. Alcantara wall and ceiling linings were fitted throughout, complemented by new carpets and soft furnishings. The saloon upholstery was renewed, and the entertainment system now features an 8K OLED television on a new electrically operated hi-lo mount. The galley has new refrigeration, a Panasonic cooktop and a multifunction oven.
Outside, all external seating, sunbeds and lounging areas have been reupholstered with diamond stitching, with new covers and further detailing throughout. The result is not simply a well-maintained older Princess; this is a V70 substantially renewed for its next chapter.
Expansive aft entertaining areas flow directly into the saloon, creating a large indoor/outdoor living space for family and guests. Large sunbeds provide dedicated lounging areas, while the foredeck offers another private space at anchor. Inside, panoramic glazing floods the main saloon with light and the opening roof transforms the atmosphere underway. The helm is integrated into the main living space, so guests remain part of the experience while the owner drives.
Below deck, accommodation is arranged across three ensuite guest cabins plus separate crew quarters. The full-beam master stateroom provides the volume and privacy expected aboard a yacht of this calibre; a substantial forward VIP and an additional twin guest cabin suit family or friends for harbour entertaining, long weekends or extended coastal cruising.
She offers something increasingly difficult to find: the space and luxury of a 70-foot yacht, the timeless styling of one of Princess's most successful designs, and 3,300hp when you push the throttles forward. Comprehensively refitted and ready for immediate delivery.
