Powered by powerful MAN V12 engines with in-line transmission, the vessel has been scrupulously cared for over the years. Recent interventions include disembarkation and complete overhaul of the engines, replacement of the fire prevention system and engine room overhaul, battery replacement, hull repainting, overhaul of heat exchangers, insulation replacement, replacement of seals, belt replacement, and replacement of sleeves. The generating set has been disembarked and overhauled according to manufacturers instructions with total repainting. Engine room painting, insulation replacement, pump overhaul and control, Besenzoni hydraulic control unit overhaul with replacement of hydraulic pipes and external pushbutton panel, fire pump replacement, and replacement of the engine room fire prevention system have all been completed.
