A particularly well-equipped example of the highly regarded Jeanneau Merry Fisher 805, a compact cruising motorboat combining a capable semi-displacement hull with an exceptionally practical wheelhouse layout, four-berth accommodation and a large aft cockpit.
Built in 2007 by Jeanneau, France, this vessel features a GRP hull, deck and superstructure with a protective skeg and internal wheelhouse helm position. The boat is powered by a single Nanni 4.390 TDI turbo diesel engine on shaft drive with approximately 800 hours and service history including a new cam belt in 2024. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger with single lever engine control and trim tabs.
The wheelhouse offers bright, excellent all-round visibility with an interior helm position to starboard, adjustable helm seat, dinette seating to port with convertible sleeping accommodation, forward-facing passenger seating and a dining table. Large sliding side windows and sliding aft wheelhouse doors provide flexibility, with curtains throughout.
Warm timber joinery throughout with blue fabric interior upholstery and LED lighting. The forward cabin provides a double/V-berth arrangement with storage beneath berths and hanging/storage lockers. A separate enclosed heads compartment houses a marine toilet with macerator and holding tank, washbasin, hot and cold water and shower facility.
The galley sits to starboard with stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressurised water, two-burner gas hob and storage cupboards. A 12V refrigerator was installed in 2023.
Extensive cruising equipment includes Raymarine radar, C80 chartplotter, ST6002 autopilot, DSC VHF, Lowrance fishfinder/sounder, Vesper Marine AIS Watchmate transponder and GPS antenna. A VirCru remote alarm and monitoring system provides intruder alarm, bilge alarms, fire, battery condition monitoring and shore power detection.
Deck features include stainless steel bow pulpit and guardrails, electric anchor windlass with chain counter, navigation lights, windscreen wipers and washers. A large aft cockpit with bench seat and storage is covered by a full cockpit enclosure. Additional features include a moulded bathing platform with custom safety railings and auxiliary outboard bracket, transom gate, bathing ladder and cockpit/deck shower. The wheelhouse roof is suitable as an additional lounging area with ladder access.
The vessel benefits from Coppercoat antifouling applied in 2020. Diesel-fired cabin heating with screen demisters maintains comfort, with LED cabin lighting throughout. A 2kw inverter and 240V shore power system with battery charger and 240V sockets provide electrical flexibility. Engine hours approximately 800.
