About this vessel
Windsiker has been recently commissioned and competing in selected regattas in Asia. The Hugh Welbourn designed IRC 52 is an excellent handicap racer under IRC and ORC, with easy sailing characteristics featuring push button winches and asymmetric spinnakers. She has an excellent performance record and is maintained very well. Currently stored on her cradle on the hardstand.
The hull was updated by McConaghys Boats, with an updated keel fin from 2017 and an updated bowsprit from 2018/19. The vessel comes with its own shipping cradle, one 20 foot air-conditioned container (workshop) with a good set of tools and boat spares, and one 40 foot air-conditioned container (sail storage) with racks for storage of all racing and cruising sails.
Great opportunity to compete at the front of the fleet at an affordable budget, with regattas coming up including Rajamuda regatta in November 2026, Kings Cup in Phuket in December, and the Langkawi regatta in January 2027.
