Built in a special, final batch and the last of the famous Beneteau 40.7's delivered to Australia, Crystal Cutter III is a brilliant example of the model fully fitted out for blue water ocean racing and retains many great cruising elements.
The interior joinery is in a limited light oak, with dark Wenge floorboards giving her a unique look and feel. Overall the condition is better than most 40.7's we've sold. There are 3 double cabins, L shaped galley, dedicated chart table and a central saloon with flip up dining table. There is a head forward to port accessed from the saloon or owners cabin.
The rig is the double spreader updated, taller mast with wire replaced in 2019. There is a spinnaker pole stored on the mast and all running rigging is continuously updated in a "ready to go" racing spec.
There is large sail inventory by Ian short sails including 3 mains (1 very good carbon, 1 Dacron delivery, 1 old carbon needs repair), No. 1, 2 (new), 3 and 4 headsails, 3 spinnakers (light/medium/heavy), 1 asymmetrical spinnaker, storm sails in excellent condition, and furling headsail.
In order to compete in blue water races Crystal Cutter III has been kept in full Category 1 up until June 2025. All gear stays with the boat and would be passed on to a new owner for their re certification.
If you're after a step on and go, late model 40.7 you would struggle to go past Crystal Cutter III which comes to the market due to the owner relocating overseas.
